Did my palmas polli eat my zigzag eel????!?!!

I had a 4inch zigzag eel in my tank new to my tank today I looked everywhere for it and nothing I saw my bichir and he's tummy looks bigger with like bumps take a look I recorded it and also wat kind of sturgeon is this got it as a present http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cN4MXajAaP4

I want to say no, but the possibility is still there that it might have. Although looking at the video it doesnt seem like the poli is much larger than the eel would have been. Ive had eels disappear for weeks at a time only to show up out of the blue. They can bury themselves in the substrate so only their nose sticks out so i would keep an eye out for him. They can also get into your intake tubes sometimes or escape the tank through small gaps so check your filter and behind the stand. Its random with this sort of thing, he could be gone or just playing hide and seek. They are really good at that when they are small. Hope this helps and that you find him. Good luck

I tried looking for him everywhere I checked behind my tank in front under,back of filters the whole top is sealed completely!!
I checked took all the sand and dec out of the tank nothing my bichir looks fuller then ever even more then wen he eats big feeder fish??? And same lazyness wens he's got a full tummy just float there not moving looking up at me
