I have 200 gallon tank tank with 2 dozen white clowd mountains and 8 clown loaches in it. The WCM keep laying eggs but I see no young, all reading I have done on them I can find no info if the eggs are edible or not and I am unsure if the CL are eating the eggs before they hatch. I have no problem breeding the WCM in a seperate tank and then adding the young to my main tank, but catching a 1 inch fish in an area of the 200 gallons is not my idea of fun.
SO, do you thing the CL are responsible for no young, or is there something else going on.
Tank temp: 65 degrees
Amonia: 0
Nitrate: 0
Nitrite: 0

The minnows will eat the eggs as well. Most people breed them over rounded marbles, so they eggs fall between them and the fish can't get to them. This won't work with the CL in there though.

is your temp a typo ..65F? its a little cool for CLs... my two cents
Your CL's will also eat the white clouds if they get hungry enough..
Mine you to eat the rosies I kept in their tank for dithers..

65 IS the tank temp and the CL's seem fine, no issues with them at these temps for 6 months now. Looks like I will try a seperate tank for breeding them thenm, thought with all the space of 200 gallons that there would be some kind of survival rate for the white clouds.

Well you've been lucky....They are highly susceptible to Ich if great care is not given to their acclimation or environment maintenance

Water parameters: pH 6.5 - 7.0, Hardness: aim for softer water, Maximum DH: 12

Temperature: 78ºF to 83ºF (25-30°C)

No surprise clowns love caviar. They always stole my severums' eggs.

And 65 degrees is too cold for them.=/ They prefer the opposite end of the temperature. I'm surprised they tolerated this temp.

Maybe get another thermometer and get the readings again.
