In Your Imagination
I have always wanted to play the didgeridoo but have always thought it would be quite expensive. I recently found out a friend of mine made his own (he calls it a didgeri-drew). It cost him about $5. So I am going to make one of my own. He told me how to do it but I don't know how long I want it to be. Anybody know a good length for a beginner? I heard a G tone is the easiest but how long should it be to achieve that g? Hopefully out of the 34,967 members somebody plays the didgeridoo.

A few of my friends play. I'd say go for it, that was you can decorate it as you wish.

i had to google that to find out what it was

my teacher made one i say go for they're interesting to listen 2

Thats awesome! How are you making yours? I've made one out of conduit, PVC, and various other things. Normally around 5 to 7' are the best lengths. Make sure you pack one end with wax/clay to make the opening smaller. Put a little curve in it too if you can....:D Awesomely done man!!

I was going for the pvc with a beeswax mouthpiece. I really want to bell out the end but don't know how. Melt pvc with a creme brulee torch then flex?

I was going to make the obvious joke about a skin flute and lengths a beginner should start with, but I'll be the bigger man.
On second, thought......... nah, I'll let it slide.
I know nothing about this didgeridoo thingy, but wish you luck in figuring it out. Sounds cool and would be a cool kickback thing to know.

can play, was never tought, don't know much about making one. i would think a 2.5-3'' pvc and a the wax mouthpeice in like a 5.5' tube SHOULD give you a G-ish tone. (if my music teacher has tought me anything :D)
