so i got home and my frontosa was attacking my fidler crab.he only had 4 legs and his big pincer left.i had no idea that fronts ate crabs.

every fish will eat a crab if they gets big enough... it's sea food....
:grinno:

fiddlers need brackish water and a land space, so most likely it would have eventually died anyway. (I am assuming you didn't provide these things)

My fiddlers were fine for 2 months in my brackish tank. Then the puffer and the blue crab got to them. Poor crabs. But I'm sure the front loved it. Got a pic?

If you had done the most minimal research into the frontosa, you would have found that their normal diet is omnivorous with more animal protein than plant materials. You would have also found that their normal diet consists heavily of crustaceans such as shrimps, prawns, and crabs.

very true. TBIC2000, next time reasearch not only the species you are considering, but how it will interact with you current inhabitants as well.
