dieing form old age ???????????

i have a convict that has staterd to act wired very run down dosent want to eat or swim around just sit in a coner and smoetime rolls over like hes dieing. he looks fine no spots or sign of sickness. but i got him 2 years ago and the lady at the fish store said he was pretty old. i checked the water evverything normal and all other fish and doing fine. could it just be old age???

Possibly. But maybe not he may just have parasites or some sort of problem. Not sure though not enough info to tell

Dont Cichlids usually look the part when they are really old? Maybe you should post a picture.

like they say, there is never a such thing as dieing from old age. something gave out! now, it's just impossible to say what's going on in the inside of a fish. Best you can do is observe any changes from the outside
