I used his method http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?33661-Converting-Cichla-off-Live-Food when i first got my 2 baby ocells about 1 1/2" and its only been less then 2 weeks ive had them there about 2 1/2" now and eating whatever i drop in the tank thats small enough im so amazed because i had many pbass and tried different methods with each batch but i like his the most and just a big THANK YOU! for sharing 
i was jealous how he got his pbass so quick
