One of my 10 inch pbasses just ate my 6 inch shovelnose.
They've been good tankmates for months so i didn't realize something like this can happen. Anyhow, i just wanted to know if the bass can digest his meal. He's been trying to move his catch, im not sure if he's trying to regurtitate the catfish or that he's just swallowing more. its been 6 hours since the feeding happened and the tail is still way outside his mouth. Im a little concerned with the shovelnoses snout, can that thick snout be digested? i duno if im freaking out but i dont think my peacock can spit the catfish out again i think its jammed right in there already. i guess i just have to wait it out, but if you guys hav info or experience to tell, it would be great thanks!
