Hi there; does anyone know the differences between the super red aro's and
the chilli/purple aro,s? I'm talking size,aggression,color?
I have read somewhere that the red aro has a more pointed mouth where
as the chilli red has a more curved up mouth.
Also do you think three of these aro's could live together housed in a 300gal tank?
Any comments would be appreciated, thanks........

I think you're mainly talking about different "commercial "names for reds...

purple reds are also super red aro. :D think different farms have different names.
as for 3 aros in 300 gal. there's a big chance that they will fight , they are like fighting fish, even with big space they will attack each other, it'll depend on your luck :D

asians don't fight as much..you just hve to look into asian aro comunity tanks in the aro forum...i would put in more than 3.

asian red get bigger than other aros and have a much slimmer body shape

even bigger then a silver?????? i think not

No.silvers ( and blacks ) are the longest in size.

Like said before blood red, chili red, violet fusion, etc are all super reds just named differently from different farms. Keep in mind that depending on brood stock at these farms you will see variety in color and shape. Three in the same tank is not impossible but would be a challenge. In my experience asians are far more aggressive than south american aro's, and your best chance would be with 6 or more. Good Luck.
