difference between a pacu and a red belly piranha

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between a pacu and a red belly piranha?And can explain me in detail anyone?

The two fish that I think most people think of in the states as Pacu are:

It would be lengthy to describe differences in detail as the 2 pacu above are indeed quite different from the red bellied piranha.

Easiest way to tell is the mouth. Piranha have a curved mouth and pacu is more of a straight slit. Thats the easiest way for me to tell atleast
