What is the difference between a hondurian jaguar and a regular jaguar and i dont really know the differrence.. im looking for jags and he has both of these so i dont know the difference and info is appreciated.

well congratulations...now if you can just figure out how to use the search feature/ google before posting a question you could easily find the answer to on your own, youll be on your way to fishkeeping stellar stardom.
You might want to change your signature and tank setup to include the fact that you also have an empty 125gal or you will continue to get the same advice that VRWC mentioned. A lot of people buy Jags and other large cichlids and place them in very small tanks as juveniles and fail to realize that they will grow much larger very fast. I think that's the point that VRWC was trying to make. But if you indeed have a 125gal available, it would make a nice home for a Jag. They are very beautiful and personable cichlids. I've raised a few myself and they are one of my all-time favorites. I've never had the Honduran variant though. Look at Aquamojo's threads. He has posted a few pics and details about his Hondurans. The difference in jags are collection points. The pattern and colors differ a little. Honduran are known to have more blue in there fins and upper back. Although if you really want a true Honduran jag FO or F1 you will need to get them from a good source. Jeff Rapps has some of the Honduran race right now I think. There is also a variant from Mexico I think that has more of a defined Jag pattern. To get a true variant of either you will need to get them from a good source not a LFS. The Honduran look much nicer IMO
Sux seems like more and more people just don't want to help anyone. I guess they figure this forum is just like google. I thought it was about talking to fellow hobbyist's not just looking up info. Then again maybe MFK is wrongly called a forum maybe it's a data base. It's just funny though in probably the same amount of time and words your question could have been answered. I don't even know why anyone says use the search function. It takes the same amount of effort to type such a statement as answer the question. If it's below you to answer a question just ignore it, somone else will gladly answer the question and save you and the OP aggravation. So for the benefit of yourself and fellow hobbyist just ignore what you presumably feel is a stupid question. As for you Cichlid me up I'm sorry I can't personally answer your question as I'm not experienced with Jag's. Though Gruff Master's suggestion was helpful Aquamojo has some killer Jag's and is a knowledgeable hobbyist. You can even ask him through pm I know I have and he was always very helpful and never told me to use the search function. He always just tried to help me.
