besides the physical differences, I mean. I want to keep one when I finally set up my monster tank after we move next year. I know almost all of them from LFS are a mix of the two, but I would be ordering from a reputable breeder (probably Rapps). I'm leaning toward Midas because I like their look a little better, but I want to know if there are any personality/behavior etc. differences between the two??

From my experience Midas get a lot larger and more owner responsive - though you'll probably hear the opposite from Red Devil fans.
Midas have a shorter thicker body, labiatus has a longer leaner body with thick lips. I agree with the post above. IMO midas are more owner responsive.
