The most common of them would be Aequidens' rivulatus. In this family of them there are 2 sp of them. One being the gold saum. That has the orange color on the tail and dorsal. Then the silver saum sp. Same basic fish but white on the fins. Then you have the fish the original name was first given to. Andinoacara stalsbergi. This would be the fish Most associate with true green terror.

There are plenty of differences from the saums to the A. stalsbergi. Including attitude. Color pattern and size.

But all are great fish. I've got saums and
A.stalsbergi. beautiful and fun.

I'd be interested in a pic of what your lfs was selling.

"Green Terror" is as stated above, a generic term or nickname referring to Andinoacara Rivulatus ("Gold Saum,") and Andinoacara Stalsbergi ("True Green Terror.")
