I been researching the triple-red apisto cacatuoides and planning on getting a pair in the near future. I found a local Apisto breeder but he only carries the double-reds. I can't tell the difference between the triples and doubles by just looking at pictures. Can someone tell me what difference there is and what I could expect from fry of a double-red pair (only double-reds or a mix or what)?

The difference as i understand it is that double reds don't have the red coloration in the anal fin while triple reds do.

Oh ok, I can now see the difference between the two fairly easily. Thank you very much, Aquadestroyer2. Both strains are beautiful, I can live with that little difference on the anal fins. Much thanks!
