Hello guys,

I have seen several TSN for sale in quite a few stores in my city.

However, I am a bit unsure about how to identify a "Pure" TSN against a TSNxRTC Hybrid.

For instance, this is a picture posted on an (Indian) forum. Is this a TSN or a Hybrid?

Hybrid.

Deff a hybrid, Big differences in TSN's and TSN X RTC's, Just look at some pictures of TSN's then some of Hybrids and you will see the difference.

I couldn't find pictures of juvenile TSN on MFK.

The difference in adult (or sub-adult) TSN and TSNxRTC is pretty obvious.

Do juvenile TSNs also have the exact same body patterns as an adult TSN?

Thanks,
Sid

Not on MFK! On google!!!!! :duh:

If you can't use search and find juvie pics of TSN on MFK you're doing it wrong. There are hundreds of pics of them. The best way to tell though is width of the head and complete lack of vertical bars that are found on TSN. Hybrids have wide heads typical of RTC's and are spotty overall

my hybrid has a fat body, like the red tail, but a mouth like the shovel nose. and it doesnt have much red in it. but i can see how it can be hard to tell. sometimes i look at it and think it isnt hybrid. either way, it's still a sweet fish
