Is there any differences in these two? Except for the different colors? And could i set up a single fish tank in a 90g tank with this guy?

i always thought Red Tiger was just the common name, i dont think there is 2 color variants of this fish.

you could have either a single or a pair in a 90g.

There is two color varients! but i think all else is the same. Mine are about 3" and they are red tigers but at this point i can't tell you if they have different dispositions. I think motas are underestimated.

They are two different regional variants of the same species of fish, one (red tiger) has more red.

I've kept the "normal" variant, but not the red tiger, so I can't tell you about disposition differences.

alright ya thats what i was wondering if there is any other differences than just the color and could i really keep a breeding pair in a 90g tank? i didnt know that, be i would a divider if anythingwere to go wrong.

Pair is fine in a 5 foot 90 gal.

I think they'd get to long for a 90 gallon.
I'd actually upgrade to a 6 foot 120.
6x2x2.
they'd be alright in that tank.
are you forsure doing a pair?
