How noticable is it to see and distinguish between these two species?

spotted on snakehead body in 2nd video bigger than the other one.
 
Wow...very similar. I only know that the second video is a Channa Argus. What's the first one?
 
the spots on the second one are large and well defined...also the first one is rounder,the second one is longer..
fins of the first one are black....fins of argus are transparent/opaque
 
maculata and argus are quite dificult to distinguish between but the diferances are as follows:

The key character for separating this species from C. argus are the bar-like markings on the caudal peduncle. In C. maculata, the most posterior dark bar (usually complete) is preceded and followed by pale bar-like areas, whereas in C. argus such pale markings are absent and the final dark marking is irregular, often blotch-like.
