different looking tem peacocks

I bought 10 temensis peacock bass all from the same place.They were 2 inches when i got them and now they are 3.One looks way different to me?Here are the pictures.Are there different kinds of temensis?

C. temensis, just like all species/races of Cichla, show a high degree of variation within the species. You could collect 10 yourself from the same river in Brazil and a few would look very different from the rest...and that's assuming you are comparing males to males and females to females. Remember, females and immature males retain the spots while mature males turn into something much different. Anyway, enjoy them...they are one of my favorite species by far :)

What do you mean by different??

true.

i have seen variations in the farm bred tems from the same brood.
mine are very brownish whereas ive seen some very light in color.
just like in your pics.
