We got a motoro in that has yellow spots and a tan background. I was thinking it may be some sort of hybrid or a variation not listed on the poster we have at the store. The spots were bright yellow. I didn't have the space, but a coworker bought it. I told him to get pics when it's settled. I'll post if he follows through. Ideas?

Motoro can have so many different color morphs. Yellow or orange spots are not uncommon. Post some pictures

I'll do that, I'll harass my coworker to get me a CD with pics next wednesday.

Orange spots can be quite an attractive pattern and in some rays it has been noticed that after a very rich diet in shrimp the "orange" was very intense. Of course, combine the genes with nutrition and one would get some exceptional results, right?!?

Even white too.

No offense mike, I love the ray, but your avatar looks like the spagetti, cheese and meatballs I puked up. :grinno:

if it is a pup than the yellow will probably turn orange. that is what happened to a couple of mine.

Bump for pics

He said he'll email me some pictures. Hope so, this is a nice ray.
