Different types ofAsians

I was wondering about the different variations of Asian arowana that are available and came up with a few questionso they all come from the wild green aro or is there another Asian species?The golds,reds and other colored ones are tanned so how does the offspring come out with the coloring of their parents?I welcome any comments.

they all do not originate from the green. red and golds originated from the wild as well as the green.

Line and x breeding is how they came to be what they are now. My understanding is that different locales produce aros with slightly different colourings. Tanning aros is simply a way to emphasize the red in red aros. I don't think Golds are tanned. I know mine isn't and it's got some serious gold goin' on.

Different basins in Southeast Asia have different wild color variant such as the Green from Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Borneo and Indonesia. The red variant are from Kapuas River from western Borneo and Indonisia. The RTG came from Sumatra and Indoneisa as well. The Blue Malayan and Gold varaint came from Panang and Bukit Merah and Malaysia. From crossbreeding different Asian arowana variant and selective breeding, farmers are able to produced HBRTG, VFSR, TY, Platinums, Albino etc. etc.

Well thanks for the threat but what I wanted to know was detailed in my post,I'm not looking to go to jail over a fish or anything else for that matter.I did get some good replies though,thanks guys.
