I've been searching evrywhere for a blue acar lately. Well one of the LFS has a tank with "Med. Blue Acara" written on the front, along with "Med Green Terror" and "Sm Texas". Now I know for sure they is 3" GT in there, and with her are what looks like either juvenile [1" tops] acaras or terrors, or maybe even texas cichlids, I cannot tell. They're a dark brown/black, with vertical stripes, tiny blue dots around their mouths, and just a hint of red on the tip of their top fins. I spoke with one of the employees, who wasn't 100% sure either, but thought they were small GTs. I'm just really hoping he's wrong :D

I know it isn't much info to go on, and snapping a picture of the little guys was pointless as the lighting in there was very low. So hopefully some one with a bit more experience can shed some light and help me out. :)

I can usually tell them apart because GT's have the orange on the dorsal fin AND the caudal fin. Blue Acara's just have it on the dorsal. The smaller they are the harder it is to tell them apart.
