i guys, i find that keeping pearl rays are not as easy as keeping other rays like leos, motoros & mantilla rays ...

I have so far lost 5 pearl pups this yr. Currently juz got my self a pair of mid sized pearls - Male 9" & female 10". Seen these 2 rays at sellers place to be healthy, but when brought home, both takes time to adjust to the new environment, which is expected. now the female is quite stable & eating normally, but the male has almost stopped eating after 1 week plus. Initially he was eating, but less. Only in the last 1-2 days seemed that he is not eating.

Can anyone experience with pearl rays give some advise...?
I've been keeping rays for many years, but only recently ventured to pearl rays .. Hope to breed them soon ...

I've only got one pearl ray but found it to be as easy as others. Was your pearl rays captive bred?

yes, both bred locally ... but from different source....

ive heard pearl pups are harder to get going compared to other pups.

not sure about adults....
