My 125g came with three mis-matched lights that sit on the top across the glass tops. All three have different bulbs, so I've been looking into either building a canopy to go on the top to house the lighting and go that route. However I kind of prefer the 'clean' look across the top so I've been considering ordering 2 - 36" lights and then maybe getting a 72" Moonlighting Kit from digikits.com to put into them. I know some of you have ordered from them in the past and was wondering if you were still pleased with them after having had them for a while. I want to say I read somewhere that they also made custom 'full enclosure' kits with both regular lighting as well as the LED kits included in the same setup, but can't find where it was posted or by whom. I'm looking for feedback on their LED kits, as well as if anyone here has ever had them make a custom 'complete' lighting setup from them. I know it would be cheaper to DYI, but quite frankly I don't have the electrical knowhow to feel confident doing it.. Especially since any project i'm going to be involved in will do doubt have alcohol involved and figure in the whole water/electricity thing, it's not likely to turn out well.

I really like the Ecoxotic Modules. They cost 95. per unit. Three or four would be enough to light your tank very well.....check out www.marinedepot.com for reviews and specs. They take up no room....very little heat and amazing light. I love em! They mount with two screws into your canopy.

Those would work, but since I don't have a canopy, I'd still be needing to add regular lighting too. Besides, with a 72" long tank, and at $95 per unit, I'm thinking I'd need probably 3 to cover the tank, that would get pricey.

The kits I was referring to run about $50 and use "27 small angle and 27 5mm 6000mcd wide angle super bright LEDs".

This is what I'm considering. But then again, I'd still have to buy regular lights, but I'd have to do that anyways. http://digikits.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=60
