digital camera - anyone got a spare?

Listen... I was posting pics of my new eel (See natives) and I really couldn't bear it any longer.... I cannot take photos for the life of me with this laptop-camera. So many of you have asked for pics of my fish, and I respond with the most god-awful pics. (I also have been advised to take one on my trip to Florida)

If anyone has a spare, second, or used digital camera that is no longer used, or replaced with a newer one, I would be very grateful if I could pick it up on an extended loan, or super cheap.
Being a college student (And a MFKeeper!) I don't have the budget to purchase one, and I don't trust buying an used one off Ebay.
If any of you guys have one to spare, I'd like to hear from you.

To be frank - I know nothing about them - so 1) It should be able to hook up to a MacBook, and 2) please be able to help me learn to use it.
Wow - I'm 30, and THIS behind lol It just hasn't been a priority until now.

First this belongs in buy sell. Second you won't get a better photo just by getting a new camera. Even the cheapest camera's are capable of taking good pictures, but not everyone can use them. I suggest you pick up a book on digital photography first, then look for a better camera.

I have used them in the past and was happy with the quality, even if they weren't "professional" - I just don't want to keep using my laptop, for obvious reasons as seen in my pics
