Is it even possible to take decent photos with a standard digital cam?.
As you can see on my gallery, even with the lighting working out, I am unable to get anything but a blurry picture. It seems my camera doesn't snap a pic fast enough and during the process that the camera is processing the image, the subject moves.

Thus the only good picture I have is of my clown pleco, who sits there like a rock. Featherfin catfishes like to "dance" and my betta like to hop about when she sees me.

What make is it? Some cameras have settings in the menu to increase shutter speed for taking pics of fast moving items. Also, using optical zoom over digital zoom makes a big difference as digital zoom has a tendency to make crappy pictures.

also turn up your ISO

I have a tough time with moving objects with mine too. Takes some good still shots though.
