Thinking about getting 1. For Nitrates and PH. Is their anything terrible about them or something I should know, etc? Like completely worthless or not accurate or way overpriced, etc? Thanks for your time.

I looked into a nitrate reader but the general consensus is that they're crap and not accurate. I guess it's not that easy to measure nitrates digitally.
pH is extremely easy and quick to test with your typical test kist. Nitrate can be a pain but I would think it would be cheaper than using digital testers.
I use a digital ph monitors on a couple of my tanks. I like them lets me see where my ph is all the time. I have a Milwaukee that is a better quality one that has been working continuously for 4 years now. I and have used couple of cheaper ones that work just as good when they work but only lasted about a year. I also have a couple of hand held ph probes that work great too. Can't say anything about Nitrate probes never used one. In fact I never test for it in any of my tanks either.
