Hey guys i hope you can help advise me, my convicts have just had some eggs hatch in my Fluval 200l tank, however today i have noticed quite a number of small thread like worms squirming about on the glass on my tank. What shall i do, i dont wish to disturb the parents or the fry, Any suggestions as to what i should do and what the worms are?

Thank you for all your help

Andy

Do plenty of water changes, siphon thoroughly and limit feeding. Those are detritus worms but they're not harmful to the fish other than an indication your tank needs to be maintained more frequently.

Thanks for your help, seem to have got rid of them, i got rid of my old massive gravel and substituted it for fine sand looks much nicer. All good in the hood. Thanks again
