I got a new ray in and put him in my quarantine tank. I noticed he had 3 argulus (fish lice) on him. I took him out after he settled and picked them off with tweezers. Of course he didn't care much for it especially since they were on his belly. I felt horrible doing it but it needed to be done. My question is my lfs does not carry Anchors away. They do however carry Dimilin (.10% concentrate) for anchor worms in KOI ponds. The recomended does is 1 tbsp per 60 gallon for 14 days then another dose of the same amount for another 14 days. I was thinking about doing a half dose and see how that goes but I wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on this. I am going to call pondcare who makes this product I got and see what they say. I am just worried that the argulus might be in his gills and would rather be safe than sorry.

buy anchors away online
and i do believe it dimilin in anchors away but to play it safe i would use anchors

I checked him out last night and did not notice any lice on him. I think I am going to keep a close eye on him for now. He is in a tank by himself so atleast they can't spread to the other fish.

seachems para gaurd works pretty good ive used it on a tank with rays in a lfs... but i would go for the anchors...
