Actually that very well could be a FH. When stressed they can get black verticle stripes just like that and the color will fade. It would have helped if the pic was a little brighter though.

no that is definately a convict cichlid...a flowerhorn would not get that dark he would show some color and its face is not that of a flowerhorn def..a convict and gt
