Dinosaur Eel

My LFS is closing the doors and they are getting rid of everything for cheap they have a Dinosaur Eel about 4 inches would that go with Cichlids or no...I get him free if he will match up

dinosaur eel is probably a senegal bichir.

Should be fine depending on size of cichlids.

It is more than likely a polypterus senegalus.

They grow about a foot and become armored tanks as they get older.

I have one with my surinamensis cichlids and ropefish and so far no issues.

they mix well with cichlids of any background providing the bichir isn't tiny in comparison. they will be largely ignored and their ganoid scale structure makes them able to take an immense amount of damage !

They do good with cichlids... Just don't have cichlids with it that are less than 1/3-1/2 the birchirs size...

He is 6 inches all my Cichlids are 3 to 6 inches
