dirty sump

so i have a mechanical ble/white pad and then a polishing pad to get the water in my sump, which i have to clean q 7 days, witch is just covered in smudge
i usually just take it out side amd hose it off
is there any better products out there that are easier to clean
or a better way to clean this

it is really amazing to me how much poo gets in the pad/sump with in a week i guess the over flow is worken great



theres also a ton of poo in the sump were it shouldnt be so im thinking of added a filter sock up the line, any one have any comments on that

are you saying your getting build up of sedment on the bottom of your sump? if so there two was i cna think of around this. one pult a bulkhead with a valve on the bottone of one of the sump walls so u can drain the thing and the suction will suck it out to werever you want it to go, or what i do at work is i took a magnum canaster filter and converted it so the intake has a syphon and with a retuirn wityh a valve so u cna suck up all the sedement and the water recycles bakc into the sump so you cna work in there for aslong as you want.
