I have a newly stocked 75 gallon with the following fish (all juveniles):
- 2 Convicts
- EBJD
- Jewel Cichlid
- Platinum Parrot
- 4 Neon Tetra
The 4 neons were a group of 10 at the beginning of the week. I have only found 2 of the missing 6 stuck to the filter’s intake tube, and cannot find the others. I’m having a hard time believing they were eaten since the cichlid’s mouths are too small to swallow them right now, unless they all acted like piranhas! Is this possible? I’m going to take the remaining 4 neons and put them into my 15 gallon since one seems to disappear each day.
Also, any idea on a different dither fish that would survive?
