damn stupid fish... fed my 'new' sengals the other day. they hadnt been fed for about 4 days (which is no time at all really) as i was on holiday. did a water change, fed them as i normally do on a sunday. all eating healthly, so off go the lights, and off to bed i go.

i wake up to find one of my sengals has choked on a piece of prawn :( not cool. and it was the more active of the two as well. im left with the one that prefers the sanctuary of the pump, to the rest of the tank even though there are pleanty of hiding places....

on a brighter note (or not so bright actually), ive installed moonlights in my tank. inspired by all the tanks on MFK. theyre made from a cold cathode kit, the ones used in PCs. you can get Black, white, blue (i have), green or a mix. £10 for the kit, and all you need is a power adapter with a selectable voltage. ive set mine at 4.5v not too dark to see, but not to light to spook the fish. the best £15 i ever spent. although my Girlfriend thinks it may as well not be in there...

the sengal doesnt care. but i actually saw my bumblebee cat the other night, eating from the surface??? at the front of the glass?!?!?! that just doesnt happern... ever.

its grown. last time i saw properly was in the bag when i was releasing it, 18 months ago. it was 3" long then. its pushing 6" now.

Thats pretty cool that you have already seen some fish that you dont normally get to watch.

it is. but it doesnt make the catfish any less ugly. :)

best to make sure the food is cut we'll thats why i cut my food small its eazyir to eat and safer for this reason nice to hear you can see your bumblebee 6'' sound like its an asian bumblebee or a giant bumblebee
