I have an 8 or 9 inch common pleco. It got sick about 3 months ago along with my oscars. The oscars had some sort of slime on them and cloudy eyes and the pleco had a pretty good size ulcer on it's stomach. A man at the local fish store sold me some sort of treatment and after about 5 days of using it my fish were happy and healthy. My pleco's scales have never been healthy looking since though. He often has white blotches. I'd maybe think it was Ich but it seems to go away sometimes. Is this normal? I'm a relatively new fish keeper, so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.
