Discus Breeding

hi everyone! i have a silly question i would like to know if you breed a discus of the same type, will they produce the same type? or there will be variation? thanks for the help!

For the most part, same strains will produce offspring similar to their parents. Pigeon Blood discus can produce a variety of different looking pigeon bloods from the same spawn though.

I agree with the post above. From my experience same variation will breed similar variations. Pure strains will breed pure strains. Some discus if they have other strains for parents will produce interesting offspring. For example, one of my discus is called a gold medallion but he came from an albino and another strain.
