I have a 125 gallon with plenty of cover and 2 juvenile discus. A red turqouise and a Fuji Red. My red turquoise chomps on the home made food that I feed, but the Fuji Red will not eat it. He will only take Frozen BW and I don't want to feed them that as a staple. The home made food consists of tropical flakes, granules, tilapia, and green peas. Any tips to get this guy to eat? Would it help if I got more juvenile discus? Thanks in advance for the help

discus are best in groups of a least 5. Frozen bloodworms are hard to kick and have little nutrition. California blackworms has frozen blackworms now which are one of the better foods for fish (you can get 11 pounds for $120 shipped). If not you can try quitting blood worms and offering your food in the morning. You can see if they would eat a quality flake like prime reef. You can also try to add some garlic and beefheart to your mix that might increase the appetites.

Ok thanks I will definitely pick up 4 more. As far as my homemade food goes is that a good mix? Where can I get beefheart and garlic? I'm having trouble finding the beefheart. I have also noticed that the turuoise is quite aggressive towards the other discus. I'm going to pick up some more discus this weekend
