discus fin problem

I got a new discus whos fin is crooken so he swims sideways alot should i cut it and hope it grows perfect?

if damage is on the soft spines you can cut but are you sure its because of the fin that it swims sideways because it could have a swim bladder problem

yeah im sure bcause he was swimming regularly in the fish tank at the pet store but the regular guy that handles fish wasnt there this new guyw asnt pretty careful with the fish
