ok so i purchased a discus a little bit ago and am now wondering what type he is. He is pure white with no color at all except the black in his eye. The outer eye parts isnt red or anything like that so i am thinking he might be albino???

Second that. White diamond/snow white. There is a sticky that will tell you about color morphs such as leucistic and albino.
IMO, price is always relative to quality. I sell those at 2.5" for $25 for a GOOD quality fish. A lot less if they are not up to par.
