ok, i have discus fever. i used to own discus and switched over because of thier difficulty. now, over 5 years after my discus experience, im keeping them again. this time they are happily living in a 55g long planted tank. i bought 2 wild ones a little less than a month ago. yesterday i bought 2 more. now im looking at my tank and i want to add maybe 2 more... all 4 in my tank now are wild discus (i think they are either the brown ones, or the semi royal blues).. anyways, i would like to keep the group as uniform as possible, meaning, if you guys help me decide to buy a few more, they would be the same species of wild discus. my dad on the other hand wants me to put some color in there, such as some reds or more brilliant looking blue discus... what should i do?? stick with a group of wilds? or mix some red melons, golden, blue diamonds, etc, in there?? help me out please, i dont want to spend anymore money. these guys are expensive but THEY LOOK SOOO GOOD WHEN THEY SWIM IN A GRUOP! hehe

Make it an excuse to get another tank, mate.;)

I think you should stick to wild discus if that is what you like. I had one a while ago and he/she was my fav.

haha i wish i could set up another tank.. that'd be cool but i lack the space in my house... tomorrow, or later in the afternoon today, ill go to the fish store and pick up another 1.. and thats it! haha i actually found a vid of them and now i can finally know what species of wilds they are... i couldnt really understand what the lfs owner was calling them... you can count on youtube to have a vid of whatever youre looking for..

post some pics of them to us.
I love the wilds too, but don't have any at the moment. Stick to the wilds, but the red marlboro will look nice with them.
