well i plan on buying a group of discus after the holidays and have a few questions...i feed blackworms to my fish(mainly stingrays and eels) is it ok for them to eat blkworms? what other foods should i feed them bloodworms and flake or pellet type food? thanks for any help

I would try not to feed live food very often. I only give live to my breeding pairs. Try to get them on a good sinking food such as New Life Spectrum. I Also feed blood worms Mysis shrimp and beef or turkey hearts.

There are also plenty of good discus food formulas you can put together yourself. Try doing a search on here.

beef heart is not healthy for discuss it will help to put some weight on them though

The problem with beef heart is it has large fiber strands and can impact bowels if not grownd up finely. I prefer turkey heart but if you are buying from Lfs this is harder to find.

I have two angelfish and they keep on trying to have babies but the bioy always eats the babies when the hatch what should i do?:nilly:

Please post questions that are not relevant to the thread topic in a new thread.

Kody- I would do a mixture of beefheart and bloodworms.
