Hi All, (Thanks in advance for your help)....

Here's the fish story. We added 2 Discus from a local breeder 2-weeks ago. One of them is about 5-6 inches the other 3-4 inches. They didn't eat for a few days. They started eating after about 2-days. We added another mature Discus 4-days ago. That Discus is about 8 inches (From the same breeder). They got along immediately. They swim around together and seem to be doing well. They change colors as they swim. Not 4-days later (The small one eats the most). We feed 3-5 times per day. the two larger ones eat but are not as interested in food. We did a water change yesterday and we're doing 1-2 per week. They eat a little each feeding. They both do this shimmy thing. They swim around eachother and once and a while the would shake. They aren't always rite next to eachother when they do it. It's increased in frequency throughout the day. We have heard and read that similar behavior happens b4 they breed. But, this seems really quick. We are worried that it might be an issue with disease or parasite.

Tanks Details
I have a 200 Gallon tank. It's been setup for 4 mo's. Parameters, PH 6.8, Nitrate, Nitrite Ammo 0, TDS 150, Temp 82-83. We have a 55G sump, 40W UV, and a quiet one 6000 (about 5-7 turnover / hr). We have sand bottom 1" depth. We have driftwood and plants growing on it. It's been there for 2-months. We added plants 1-week ago. a lot of them and have dosed with plant vitamins Seachem Flourish & Seachem Excel about 3/4 what was requested.

how about some pics? I would love to see that 8" fish. what do you mean they change colors? If you mean thier mood bars then thats normal. if they are going real dark then thats not a good thing. I have wilds and I'm not interested in breeding. my fish will shimmer now and then. as for the feeding, give them time. it may take a month before they are totally comfortable. what do you use to test your water? you should have some nitrates. be advised that 3 discus is not a good number. they are very social fish and you will probably have problems with aggression. at least 6 and maybe more for that tank.
