hey guys!! I have the baby arowana currently in a 55. He is about 3-4 inches. i was thinking about moving him into my 160 with seven 5inch discus and 4 sterbai cory. is this okay for now.

Should be fine. Maybe people have done these setups with no problems.

yes its fine but watch out for your cory's when the arowana gets bigger. My arowana is over 12in and is still doing ok with my discus, but did try to eat the cory's.

KLee79 what is the size of your tank. what do you feed your arowana

Eventually it will eat, or try to, the cories. But it will be fine with the discus.

mine snaps at my discus if he has not ate for a while, but overall is ok as long as he's not hungry.:)

Theyre all in a 100g tank...I feed crickets, flakes, goldfish and other feeders to the arowana

Personally I would keep the arowana by itself until about 5 or 6". This will only take a month or two. oncw you find the aro eagerly eats and is not frightened by your presence you can then move to the larger tank.

I would not keep the aro with cory cats, if the aro were to try and eat the cory it would likely mean death for both fish.

No offence but that is one hell of a bad diet.
