Discus with barbs and blood parrots ?

My LFS has three 4 inch discus for sale.

I have a 280gal tank with eight 6 inch silver barbs and four 4 inch blood parrots. Will it be a bad idea to put the 3 discus in this tank or will these fish get along just fine??

I also have a small common pleco that keeps to himself all the time.

parrots can be quite pushy and discus are delicate. i would suggest malawi with the parrots know a few people with blood parrots and malawi

I wouldn't put discus in there. The barbs might be too active for the discus and out compete them for food. The blood parrots my be too aggressive. Check the stickies in the Discus angel forum for more info.

no i wouldnt put them in there.
