Has anyone ever done it or seen it be done? Im going to experiment and see if i can keep discus with a severum.

It can be done, but severums are much bigger eaters and won't give your discus much of a chance at feeding time. Discus tend to like to pick at their food for a while. Also, overly pushy severums can sometimes make discus skittish. I've kept discus with a variety of cichlids but tank size and stocking density are very important in making it work long-term.

the only cichlids anyone I know of who have had luck with discus are rams and occasionally angelfish though it depends on the temperment, as the discus in question was unusually aggressive. Apisto's might work given their similarities to rams

Ok, just wondering if it can be done. My Severum is actually more skittish than discus.
