I have 4 discus about 3-4 inches. I also have 2 small ones, 1.5-2 inches. The small ones are in a separate tank. I eventually want to put them together. How big should the little ones be? My daughter did this, but hers were all bigger and they were fine.

I would just add them if they are all healthy and eatting. I have some 2" discus with 3-4" older ones. I find the older ones don't tend to mess with the young ones much. The young ones fight with eachother more. you can always move them if you feel the need.

If you move the small one s with the big ones its easier if your tank is bb because its easier to clean and you will have to fed the juvies several times a day. big wc often will also help everyone grow especially the little ones
