My colony of super red L25s has this - does not seem to be affecting other fish.

water is perfect- on automatic changer in 1500 gallon system that changes 700 gallons per day.

Any ideas what it is and treatment advice?

I don't know what it is, but I would consider applying a topical desinfectant (ointment). Even if not a fungus it probably would help and not hurt. However, a close eye on water quality (oily film that may result from ointment) should be considered. This is not something I know would work, just what I would do. The other possibility would be methylene blue, also applied also topically.
A problem involved is having to catch the fish (repeteadly?) which may be more stressful than helpful.

Not sure. Areas look like places of contact or friction. Can try an application of hydrogen peroxide via qtip. Even the MB like fjb has mentioned. Just keep away from the gills.

Just treated the 1500 gallon (it’s actually another 180 gallons if I consider sump) with prazipro and am planning paracleanse when it arrives based on recs from several of he guys who import these regularly. There are 14 of them in the tank and about 1/3 to half have come down with it.

I'm not totally sure, but the pictured disease might be "Epistylis". If so antibiotic laced foods & a Formalin based parasitic med. are usually the way to go.
