im getting close to beating columnaris in my 180, and once i do i want to remove the fish to put my dovii pair in there, but am worried about the dovii getting it. is there a way to make shure to kill any columaris bacteria that might be left in the tank without completely tearing the tank down? perhaps a 100% WC and clean everything with fresh water.

You might want to use the bleach solution to clean the tank. Clean it thoroughly afterwards to remove any possible residues.
