About 4 years ago when we bought this house, we tried to get "dish network"...They came out after the three week wait for an appointment, and told us, "The tree in your backyard prevents any signal from getting through".....I said "we can send a signal to alpha centauri, but not through a tree?
"..He was getting mad and said "no".....That was all fine, but then the spam started...I have Charter and they blow ***, and the costumer service sucks, but it is the only option for me...
Dish Network has called my house no less than 1x per day, and up to 10x per day..They call from local #'s, out of state like "702" area code (which is vegas)..And 1-800 #'s...They also call from #'s that have a name...Like "Chuck Barnes" "J2 Global communications" "Product development" and so on....
So I warn you, if you try to get dish, and it does not work out for whatever reason, BEWARE OF THEIR SPAMMING HABBITS......
