Hey,
As some of you may know i've been having problems with a bacterial infection in my tanks. Well in my 50 i had one channa asiatica that was dying slowly. I was treating it with AP triple sulfa but it just seemed to be getting worse. First it was just his tail fin that was disintergrating, then it moved up to the base of his tale finally i woke up this morning and he was dead.
I still have 5 clown loaches a couple of tin foil barbs and a hujeta in there. Whoe all seem perfectly fine. One thing i'm worried about is the clown loaches were nibbling on the fish's open wound. Will the disease spread to them? I also want to disinfect the tank now but i'm not sure how to go about doing so. Do i have to take all the fish out and drain all the water, clean the filter media? Please advise...
Thanks
