Disk Regeneration

I careless left my 250w Jager heater in a vertical position while adding a P.Motoro. After one night I noticed the ray had a damaged area of disk. I instantly knew the source: the heater. Anyway, 2 days have passed and the damaged area has been shed, leaving my ray with a quarter size nick in its disk. Can I expect this to regenerate?

I agree with Frank one of my female rays was burned pretty badly and you can't even tell anymore. It completely healed.

and if its really bad, it can leave a scar i believe.
