heard bullriding will do stuff like dislocate shoulders and heads get bashed from stomping hooves and stuff like that.

that's why i took up the hobby of fishkeeping. and i even sprained an ankle doin' a water change one time. pissed me off!!! who gets injured keeping fish???

good luck man, hope it's nothing permanant

I dislocated my shoulder playing football almost 20 years ago; it still slides out of place from time to time, and causes misery almost everytime this happens (imagine a burning, tearing pain radiating through your clavicle, chest, and side).

Yours sounds pretty serious, if they recommend surgery to correct it I would say definitely do it. Without surgery, there is an excellent chance it will continue to cause problems and dislocations in the future (see above experiences). The downside to surgery is inactivity for that arm for several months. If you don't have surgery, I would HIGHLY recommend you start a course of muscle-building for your shoulder to offset the new structural weakness you are going to suffer from. Interestingly, many weight-lifting exercises are impossible without working at it, as the weight/stress of the weights cause the shoulder to partially dislocate. So start some physical therapy as soon as possible. Good luck!

my shoulder used to pop out and go right back in on its own (old snowboarding injury). then i had a trampoline inccident and majorly dislocated it. so bad that i had to get the tendants in my shoulder shortend because the simplest things like closing the car door would pop it out. all i can say is if they tell you to go to phsyo do it. i didnt and im paying for it now. good luck hope u recover soon

Ye they said i mite have therapy im goin to the shlder docs monday... as soon as i got to runnin away from the bull i knew somethin was wrong..the bullfighter has his come out occasionally and tried to put nube bak in but cldnt...and xrays made me want to just kill my self!
